Today marks one of humanity's finest hours in our enduring struggle for freedom. The Berlin Wall reminds of how the barrier between freedom and oppression inspires hope. It’s been that way throughout all of world history. Sad facts are that a river or a mountain or a fence has often made the difference between a life of despair and a life of hope.
So let's remember that more than 25 years ago today, it took more than sledgehammers and manpower to finally tear down the Berlin Wall. Freedom took what Ronald Reagan called “the will and moral courage of free men and women.” It took the patient cries of an oppressed people to make Historic change.
I aspire for every American to Live the American Dream. We need to end the oppression of a growing American Government telling you what you can do and not do, we need Liberty. America was founded by liberation and yet some remarkably tend to forget that. We need every opportunity to gain an education to uplift our families and communities. We need to end this unfortunate racist revolving prison system. We need pure Justice restored. It is my prayer that we may be humble, open to feedback, be articulate, learn as much as we can on important issues that affect us, and able to share what we need with elected officials so the real change can assist us in our individual and collective pursuit of happiness.
